F.Sc. Medical Technology — Two-Year Program The F.Sc. Medical Technology is a two-year intermediate program after SSC/Matric, designed for students who want to build a career in the healthcare and medical technology sector. The program combines academic education with practical, skills-based training, preparing students for further studies and professional opportunities in Pakistan and abroad. The program offers specialized training across nine medical technology disciplines, allowing students to develop practical knowledge and technical skills relevant to modern healthcare services. Medical Technology Specializations Laboratory Technology — Introduction to clinical laboratory procedures, diagnostic testing and laboratory practices. Cardiac Technology — Fundamentals of cardiac care, cardiac diagnostic procedures and related healthcare equipment. Medical Imaging Technology — Introduction to medical imaging procedures and diagnostic imaging equipment. Nursing Technology — Basic patient care, clinical support and essential nursing-related skills. Ophthalmic Technology — Fundamentals of eye care, ophthalmic procedures and related equipment. Operation Theatre Technology — Training in operation theatre procedures, sterilization, surgical support and theatre management. Physiotherapy Technology — Fundamentals of rehabilitation, therapeutic procedures and patient support. Dispensing Technology — Basic pharmaceutical practices, dispensing procedures and safe handling of medicines. Dental Hygiene Technology — Fundamentals of oral hygiene, preventive dental care and clinical dental support.
