Ophthalmic Technology is a two-year program after SSC/Matric designed for students interested in eye care, vision services and ophthalmic healthcare. The program combines academic learning with practical, skills-based education to develop foundational knowledge and technical skills relevant to ophthalmic and clinical settings. Students are introduced to basic anatomy and physiology of the eye, vision assessment, ophthalmic instruments and equipment, patient preparation, eye-care procedures, infection prevention and clinical support practices under appropriate professional supervision.
